I'm so excited to be heading to Vegas for the biggest wedding and portrait photography convention, WPPI. I will be out of the office for a few days but if you need anything I will have some email access.
While visiting a cocoa bean plantation on the island of Grenada my husband and I came across the friendliest burrow. My husband soon named him Poncho. How cute is he! You can see a little video of our friend here.

I finally have had some time to work on some personal photographs...
Whenever I travel abroad I have always been fascinated with cemeteries. I'm not sure why but I always come home with a ton of gravestone photographs. I've walked through cemeteries in the UK, the US, the Caribbean, and all over Europe. They are all so unique and interesting. In July, my husband and I visited Portugal. While driving around the country I made my husband turn the car around, twice, so I could walk through the gravestones and read them. My husband waited in the car.
While in Portugal I found myself also intrigued by something else...hanging laundry. It was everywhere. I could not get enough of it and was constantly shooting it. The clothes told so much about the people who own and wear them.
I put together a little slide-show of my favorite images. Click here to view. The music you hear is traditional Fado. There are no cemetery images in this post...maybe in the next one!

Erin - Loving the 6 sheet of Poncho the donkey.. are they as you shot them or cropped afterwards? Love your creativity. Someone of my friends don't 'get' that stayle or ide - you've seen my Fbook profile pic, of the Theatre sign in Chicago - some said, "Oh it's too bad the rest of the sign isn't in the shot!" Ha.
All the best KC
